Terms of service
Effective November 1, 2026
These terms govern use of Pivotal Insights (the "Service") provided by Pivotal Ridge Solutions LLC ("we", "us"). If a client has signed an order form or agreement with us, that document controls where it differs from these terms. By using the Service you agree to these terms on behalf of the organization you represent ("Client").
1. The Service
The Service is a web application for budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting. We will provide the modules the Client has subscribed to and may improve or change features over time without materially reducing the Service the Client has paid for.
2. Accounts
The Client controls who has access and what each user can see. The Client is responsible for its users' activity and for keeping its sign-in email accounts secure. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been misused.
3. Client data
The Client owns its data. The Client gives us permission to host, process and transmit its data only as needed to provide and support the Service. The Client is responsible for having the right to bring that data into the Service, including any personal information about its employees.
4. Connected systems
The Client authorizes the Service to read from its connected accounting systems and to write budgets back when an authorized user sends them. The Client's use of those systems remains subject to the providers' own terms. We are not responsible for changes or outages in third-party systems.
5. Acceptable use
The Client will not attempt to access another client's data, interfere with the Service, reverse engineer it, resell it without our agreement, or use it for anything unlawful.
6. AI features
AI features produce drafts. Users are responsible for reviewing anything produced by AI before saving or relying on it. A Client administrator can switch AI features off.
7. Fees
Fees, billing frequency and setup charges are set out in the Client's order. Fees are due as stated on each invoice. We may suspend the Service after reasonable notice if an invoice is more than 30 days overdue.
8. Term and termination
Subscriptions run for the term in the order and renew unless either side gives notice before the renewal date. Either side may end the subscription if the other materially breaches these terms and does not fix the breach within 30 days of notice. At the end of a subscription, we provide an export of Client data on request within 30 days and then delete it.
9. Confidentiality
Each side will protect the other's confidential information with reasonable care and use it only for purposes of this relationship.
10. Warranties and disclaimers
We will provide the Service in a professional manner. Except as stated in these terms, the Service is provided "as is." Reports and forecasts depend on the data provided and are not financial, tax or legal advice.
11. Limitation of liability
Neither side is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or lost profits. Each side's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees the Client paid in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to a Client's payment obligations or to breaches of section 5.
12. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. We may update these terms by posting a new version here and notifying Client administrators. Changes take effect at the next renewal unless the Client agrees sooner.
